Drive Units
Coles manufacture capsules for OEM uses and speaker drive units. Amongst
these is the famous CE4001 super-tweeter.
This has been around for a number of years, but is still in dmand because
any speaker system with this unit in it is better for the difference.
Next the CE3000, a hard dome tweeter with
a lower range, still incorporating those 'transients' highly acclaimed
by those designers who know how to arrive at a crossover.
Then there's the CE3100; a soft dome for
those who prefer soft domes, our CE2000 8"
bass driver taking the range sounding right into the mid frequencies,
and the CE5000 Bass/Mid or Mid.
Put two or three of these together for a first class system. We will manufacture
the crossovers as well for you.
Also manufactured is a headphone capsule for deaf teaching schools. This
unit will take up to about 140 db, but do not try it if you have normal
hearing.
Finally, we also produce noise cancelling microphone capsules, pressure
transducers and other headphones.
