Company Background

Coles Electroacoustics Ltd was established in 1964. Since then we have become a truly multi-disciplined engineering company. We specialised in the design and manufacture of sound equipment for film, stage and television, as well as numerous commercial applications.

Today we can provide customers with a total product manufacturing package which includes plastic injection moulding, power presswork, toolmaking, general metalwork and assembly work on a subcontract basis.

We have extensive electronic, electrical and electro-mechanical assembly and test facilities with an emphasis on electro-acoustic products, but in many cases these excellent facilities are equally suitable for very competitive production of other types of electrical and mechanical assemblies.

Considerable investment has been made in plant and equipment to provide precision mouldings in most modern materials from 15 - 110 tonne lock. medium or long runs of quality pressings, and special facilities for coil winding, diaphragm moulding etc. The following industries illustrates the diverse nature of our work:
